Walking a Yoga Path, a collaborative workshop with the incomparable Sara Ward. Saturday, February 15, 2 – 4:30pm. Sign up here!
What does it mean to live “like a yogi” in our modern world? How can ancient and contemporary teachings of yoga inform the way we choose to live off of the mat, in our daily lives? Co-taught by our resident yoga philosophers, Sara Ward and Hollie Sue Mann, this workshop will explore the relationship between some of the fundamental principles of yoga found in many methods and lineages—sattva (clarity and goodness), bhakti (devotion), sadhana (practice), svadhyaya (self-study)—and the actual practices and attitudes modern yogis can adopt to bring about greater joy, clarity, and inner-peace. We will discuss a range of topics relevant to almost every practioner of yoga, including relationships, diet, study, contemplation, work life, and how one might go about nurturing a more spiritual, deeper practice. This workshop will take the form of lecture and discussion. It is open to everyone, and all are welcome. For further information or questions, please contact Hollie Sue Mann at email@example.com or Sara Ward at firstname.lastname@example.org. To register, go here!
